Pair Charged With Bank Robbery
David Alan Sprintz, 35, and Kevin Gilchrist, 38, both of Philadelphia, were charged today by Indictment with bank robbery, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.
If convicted, Sprintz faces a maximum possible sentence of sixty years imprisonment, three years supervised release, a $750,000 fine, and a $300 special assessment. Gilchrist faces a maximum possible sentence of forty years imprisonment, three years supervised release, a $500,000 fine, and a $200 special assessment.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Lower Providence Township Police Department, and the Philadelphia Police Department, and is being prosecuted by Special Assistant United States Attorney Brian K. Fitzpatrick.
