Philadelphia man charged With Robbing Laundromat and nail salons
Breyon Hare, 24, of Philadelphia, PA, was charged by Indictment with the armed robberies of two city nail salons and a city laundromat between July 30, 2012 and August 3, 2012. Hare is charged with four counts of robbery which interferes with interstate commerce and four counts of using and carrying a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.
According to the indictment, Hare robbed the Emerald Laundromat, at 4221 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia, on July 30, 2012 and August 3, 2012; the Myly Nail Salon, at 6214 Lansdowne Avenue on August 2, 2012; and the Tanya Nails salon, at 5245 Chestnut Street, on August 2, 2012, all at gunpoint.
If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of life imprisonment and a $2 million fine.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Jennifer Arbittier Williams.
