June 22, 2006 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the filing of an Indictment* against ARTHUR ABRAHAM charging him with one count of possession of items containing visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2252(a)(4)(B). The indictment alleges that on or about March 21, 2005, Arthur Abraham knowingly possessed several CD and DVD disks that contained more than 150 video files with images of children engaging in sexually explicit conduct. The CDs and DVDs were produced using materials which had been mailed or shipped or transported in interstate commerce and which contained visual depictions that had been shipped and transported in interstate and foreign commerce, the production of which involved the use of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Abraham faces a maximum 10 year term of imprisonment, 3 years supervised release, a $250,000 fine, and a $100 special assessment.
