United States Attorney's Office News Release

 

June 23, 2006 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan announced the filing of a five-count indictment* charging Rodney Fields and Craig Busillo, with five counts of bank robbery, and aiding and abetting, for a string of five bank robberies committed between May 26, 2006 and June 1, 2006.

These cases were investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, along with the Philadelphia Police Department, and the Abington Township Police Department. Upon conviction, Fields faces a maximum statutory sentence of 100 years imprisonment, 3 years supervised release, and a $1,250,000 fine, and Busillo faces a maximum statutory sentence of 40 years imprisonment, 3 years supervised release, and a $500,000 fine.
