June 26, 2006 - Patrick L. Meehan, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, today announced the filing of an information* against Craig Green, charging him with possessing contraband in prison; the information alleges that Green, while incarcerated at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia, in August 2005, possessed contraband, specifically, a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of heroin.
If convicted of the offense charged, the defendant faces the following maximum
penalties:
Craig Green: 20 years imprisonment, a fine of $250,000 and a special assessment of $100.
