June 29, 2006 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the filing of an
Indictment* charging defendant Maurice Nesmith with one count of bank robbery. The indictment charges that the defendant committed the robbery of the Commerce Bank, 8301 Henry Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on April 5, 2006. The defendant is facing a maximum penalty of 20 years imprisonment, 3 years of supervised release, and a $250,000 fine.
