June 14, 2006 - United States Attorney Patrick L.Meehan today announced the filing of a six-count information,* charging Shalefe Riley with distribution and possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine and heroin, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a), and possession of marijuana, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 844. These offenses arise from the defendant’s distribution and possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine and heroin on three occasions in 2004 and 2005, and his possession of marijuana on one occasion in 2004.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 101 years imprisonment, a $1, 251,000 fine, a three-year period of supervised release, and $600 in special assessments.
