October 18, 2006 - PHILADELPHIA – United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced that a federal grand jury returned a one-count indictment,* which charged Christian Chiclana-Carlo with possession with the intent to distribute approximately 23 kilograms of cocaine.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of life imprisonment which includes a 10 year mandatory minimum term of imprisonment, a fine of $4,000,000 and 5 years supervised release.

The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Ageministration and has been assigned to Assistant United States Attorney Floyd J. Miller.
