January 24, 2007 - PHILADELPHIA – United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the filing of a two-count indictment* charging defendant Brian Douglas Hoggard with distribution of crack cocaine and conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, arising from offenses committed in March of 2006 in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

If convicted, the defendant faces a sentence of life imprisonment, 10 years to lifetime supervised release, a $24,000,000 fine, and a $300 special assessment.

The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Coatesville Police Department. The case has been assigned to Assistant United States Attorney Joseph E. McGettigan, III.
