March , 2007 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan, and the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement today announced the filing of a one-count indictment* charging Matthew Jonathans with possession of child pornography, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2252(a)(4). According to the court records, on August 3, 2006, a search warrant was executed at Jonathans’ residence in Greenville, Montgomery County, and his computer was seized. Analysis of the computer revealed at least 732 images and 26 videos of child pornography that depicted infants and pre-pubescent minors in bondage, and engaged in sexual activity with themselves, with other children and with adults.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 10 years imprisonment, 3 years supervised release, $250,000 fine and a $100 special assessment.
