United States Attorney's Office News Release

 

March 15, 2007 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the filing of an Indictment* against Dimitri Lambert, charging him with one count of making false statements to a firearms dealer, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 924(a)(1)(A).

If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of five years imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, three years supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.

This Indictment is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, an initiative by the United States Attorney’s Office, all District Attorney’s Offices in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Philadelphia Police Department and other Police Departments, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and other federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to identify and prosecute firearms offenders in federal court, where the defendants are likely to receive a substantial sentence upon conviction.
