United States Attorney's Office News Release

 

March 22, 2007 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the filing of a one-count indictment* against April Williams for possession with the intent to distribute and aiding and abetting the possession with the intent to distribute of approximately 89.7 grams of cocaine base, on or about October 8, 2004.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of life imprisonment, with a mandatory minimum term of 10 years imprisonment, a $4 million fine and at least five years of supervised release.

The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and has been assigned to Kathy A. Stark, AUSA.
