United States Attorney's Office News Release

 

May 2, 2007 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the filing of an Indictment* against Demetrio Columna-Romero charging that on or about March 4, 2007, he was found in the United States illegally after having been removed from the United States after being convicted of an aggravated felony.

If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 20 years in prison, 3 years supervised release, a $250,000 fine, and a $100 special assessment.

The case was investigated by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and has been assigned to Assistant United States Attorney Nancy E. Potts
