May 7, 2007 - United States Attorney Patrick L. Meehan today announced the filing of one-count indictment* charging Mario Espinosa-Robles, a Mexican National, with illegally reentering the United States, after previously being deported following his conviction in Arizona 2002 in the Arizona Superior Court for the attempted distribution of marijuana. If convicted in this case, Espinosa-Robles faces a maximum of 10 years imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, a special assessment of $100 and three years of supervised release. This case was investigated by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service, an agency of the Department of Homeland Security.
