
Monroe County Man Pleads Guilty to Federal Cocaine Trafficking Charges
The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that a Monroe County man pleaded guilty today before Senior United States District Judge A. Richard Caputo to cocaine trafficking charges.
According to United States Attorney Peter J. Smith, Lester Tucker, age 50, of East Stroudsburg, admitted to distributing cocaine in the Monroe County area in April of 2010.
Tucker faces a maximum possible sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1,000,000.
The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and Stroud Area Regional Police Department.
U.S. Attorney Smith noted that the case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Robert J. O’Hara.
