Dormont Man Sentenced To Prison For Cocaine Possession

PITTSBURGH, Pa. ‑ A resident of Dormont, Pa., has been sentenced in federal court to 42 months of probation on his conviction of violating federal drug laws, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.

United States District Judge Joy Flowers Conti imposed the sentence on Sean Lach, 38.

According to information presented to the court, on February18, 2009, Lach possessed with the intent to distribute and/or distributed 226.2 grams of cocaine.

Assistant United States Attorney Barbara K. Swartz prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.

U.S. Attorney Hickton commended the Drug Enforcement Administration for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Sean Lach.
