Kenneth P. Madden

Kenneth P. Madden, First Assistant United States Attorney, is a Rhode Island native who graduated from Providence College in 1972 with a B.A. degree. Mr. Madden received his J.D. degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1975. From 1975 until January 1986, Mr. Madden was a Special Assistant Attorney General and an Assistant Attorney General assigned to the Criminal Division of the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General. Mr. Madden has been an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Rhode Island since January 1986, serving at various times as the Lead Attorney for the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, the Organized Crime Strike Force Chief, the First Assistant United States Attorney, and the Senior Litigation Counsel.
