Columbia, South Carolina ---- United States Attorney Bill Nettles and Columbia Chief of Police Randy Scott announced today that they will join a team of police, community members and private businesses from the Columbia area for a work day at the Four Seasons Apartment Complex, adjacent to Pinehurst Park. The work day is part of an on-going initiative aimed at putting an end to the "open air" drug market in that area through a combination of enforcement, environmental design, and community involvement. The U.S. Attorney and Chief of Police will make brief remarks at noon.
