Columbia, South Carolina ---- United States Attorney Bill Nettles stated today that a Federal Grand Jury in Greenville, South Carolina, returned Indictment(s) against the following:
Grandfather Indicted and Arrested for Production and Possession of Child Pornography Webster Douglas Williams, III, age 54, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, was charged in a 4-count Indictment with production and possession of child pornography and transporting a minor across state lines for the purposes of engaging in sexual acts, a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 2251(a) and (e), 2252A(a)(5)(B) and 2423(b). The maximum penalty Webster Douglas Williams, III could receive is 70 years imprisonment. The case was investigated by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and is assigned to Assistant United States Attorney William E. Day, II of the Florence office for prosecution. The United States Attorney stated that all charges in the Indictment are merely accusations and that all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
