Ridgeville Man Charged with Trafficking in Counterfeit Products

Columbia, South Carolina ----- United States Attorney Bill Nettles announced that a grand jury sitting in Charleston has today returned a two-count indictment charging Delmar Ray, Age 26, with trafficking in counterfeit sports apparel and criminal copyright infringement for reproducing and distributing movies and music.

The case was investigated by Special Agents with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Assistant United States Attorney Eric Klumb is prosecuting the case.

The United States Attorney stated that the charges alleged in the indictment are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
