Federal Grand Jury Indictments

Columbia, South Carolina -----United States Attorney Bill Nettles stated today that a Federal Grand Jury in Columbia, South Carolina, returned Indictment(s) against the following:

Truck Drivers Charged with Stealing Fuel
Ricky C. Hill, age 55, of Milledgeville, Georgia and AJ Williams, age 59, of Warner Robins, Georgia were charged in separate 2- count Indictments with Failure to Deliver a Military Shipment, a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1023 and Theft of Government Property, a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 641.  The maximum penalty Hill and Williams could receive is 10 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.  The case was investigated by agents of the United States Air Force and is assigned to Assistant United States Attorney T. DeWayne Pearson of the Columbia office for prosecution.

Rock Hill Theft by Bank Employee
Dionna Shawntae Lowery, age 25, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, was charged in a two-count Indictment with theft by a bank employee and criminal conspiracy, a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 656 and Section 371.  The maximum penalty Dionna Shawntae Lowery could receive is thirty years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000,000.00.  The case was investigated by agents of the FBI and is assigned to Assistant United States Attorney Jamie Lea Nabors Schoen of the Columbia office for prosecution. The United States Attorney stated that all charges in these Indictments are merely accusations and that all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
