California Man Sentenced to Probation on Drug Charge

United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that a California man charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance was sentenced on October 26, 2009, by Chief US District Judge Karen E. Schreier. Mark David Anthony Bradley, age 20, was sentenced to 4 years probation and a $100 victims' assessment. Bradley was indicted by a federal grand jury on February 24, 2009. In February, 2009, at Sioux Falls, Bradley was traveling in a vehicle that, after being pulled over by the SDHP, was found to contain three ounces of cocaine. On July 31, 2009, he pled guilty to the charge. This case was investigated by DEA, the SFPD and the Unified Narcotics Enforcement Team. Assistant US Attorney Mark A. Vargo prosecuted the case. # # #
