Denver Man Sentenced on Drug Charge

United States Attorney Brendan V. Johnson announced that a Denver man charged with Distribution of a Controlled Substance was sentenced on December 6, 2010, by US District Judge Jeffrey L. Viken. Andrew Bulgier, age 23, was sentenced to 57 months of imprisonment, three years of supervised release, and a $100 victim assessment.

Bulgier was indicted by a federal grand jury on February 18, 2010. In February 2010, at Rapid City, Bulgier distributed cocaine. He pled guilty to the charge on September 9, 2010.

This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Unified Narcotics Enforcement Team. Assistant US Attorney Mark A. Vargo prosecuted the case.

Bulgier was immediately turned over to the custody of the US Marshal.
