USA v. Sheila Kennedy, et al. Case Number 3:07-00263
On March 24, 2009, Sheila Kennedy pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud, one count of mail fraud, and two counts of money laundering. Recently, this case was reassigned from U.S. District Judge Robert Echols to U.S. District Judge William Haynes, which has caused scheduling changes. The sentencing hearing for Sheila Kennedy has been reset to 10:00 am, November 6, 2009. The trial of the remaining defendants, Kenneth Kennedy, Ann Scarborough, and Philip Russell, which was scheduled for December 8, 2009, has not yet been rescheduled. We expect Judge Haynes will issue a scheduling order shortly, and the new trial date will be posted as soon as it is known.
