GREGG COUNTY MAN GUILTY OF FEDERAL DRUG CHARGES
(TYLER, TX) United States Attorney John L. Ratcliffe announced today that a 25-year-old Longview man has pleaded guilty to federal drug trafficking charges in the Eastern District of Texas.
BRYAN DURELL LYNCH was indicted on November 6, 2007 and charged with possession with intent to distribute and distribution of cocaine. He pleaded guilty today before United States Magistrate Judge John D. Love.
According to information presented in court, an investigation began in May 2007 into the distribution of cocaine in East Texas by Lynch and a co-defendant.
Lynch faces up to 20 years in federal prison and a fine of up to $1 million. A sentencing date has not been set.
This case is being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, the Longview Police Department and the Gregg County Sheriff's Office and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Richard L. Moore.
