HENDERSON MAN SENTENCED FOR DEALING COCAINE
TYLER, TX – U.S. Attorney Rebecca A. Gregory announced today that a 54-year-old Henderson man has been sentenced to federal prison for drug violations in the Eastern District of Texas.
KENNETH POLLARD pleaded guilty on Aug. 11, 2008, to possession with the intent to distribute cocaine and was sentenced to 66 months in federal prison today by U.S. District Judge Michael H. Schneider. Pollard was also ordered to forfeit $10,000.00, representing the proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs.
According to information presented in court, Pollard admitted to distributing between 5 and 20 grams of cocaine.
This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Henderson Police Department and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Baldwin.
