DALLAS MAN GUILTY OF FEDERAL DRUG VIOLATIONS
TYLER, TX – U.S. Attorney John M. Bales announced today that a 25-year-old Dallas, Texas man has pleaded guilty to federal drug violations in the Eastern District of Texas.
LEE DALE WHITE pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute crack cocaine today before U.S. Magistrate Judge John D. Love.
According to information presented in court, from October 2007 until about September 2008, White and others acquired and distributed crack cocaine in East and North Texas. A federal grand jury returned a 4 count indictment on Oct. 7, 2009, charging White with federal drug trafficking crimes.
White faces up to Life in federal prison at sentencing. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the Tyler Police Department and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Mary Ann Cozby.
