RUSK COUNTY WOMAN SENTENCED FOR DRUG CRIMES
TYLER, TX – U.S. Attorney John M. Bales announced today that a 53-year-old Overton, Texas woman has been sentenced to federal prison for drug violations in the Eastern District of Texas.
ALICE FAYE WARREN pleaded guilty on Jan. 22, 2009, to an Information charging her with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and was sentenced today to 60 months in federal prison by U.S. District Judge Leonard E. Davis.
According to information presented in court, since August 2008, Warren had conspired with others to distribute crack cocaine in East Texas.
This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Rusk County Sheriff's Office and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Richard L. Moore.
