JACKSONVILLE PHARMACIST GUILTY OF FEDERAL DRUG CRIMES
TYLER, TX – U.S. Attorney John M. Bales announced today that a 48-year-old Jacksonville Pharmacist man has pleaded guilty to federal drug violations in the Eastern District of Texas.
TIMOTHY LYN WORSHAM pleaded guilty to an Information charging him with acquisition of a controlled substance by fraud today before U.S. Magistrate Judge John D. Love.
According to information presented in court, from 2003 until at least 2006, Worsham acquired controlled substances by fraudulent means during his employment as a Pharmacist in East Texas.
Worsham faces up to 4 years in federal prison at sentencing. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
This case is being investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration Diversion Unit and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Mary Ann Cozby.
