DALLAS MAN SENTENCED FOR FEDERAL DRUG VIOLATIONS
TYLER, TX – U.S. Attorney John M. Bales announced today that a 25-year-old Dallas man has pleaded guilty to federal drug violations in the Eastern District of Texas.
LEE DALE WHITE pleaded guilty on Oct. 26, 2009, to conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute crack cocaine and was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison today by U.S. District Judge Michael H. Schneider.
According to information presented in court, from October 2007 to September 2008, White and others acquired and distributed crack cocaine in East and North Texas. A federal grand jury returned a 4 count indictment on Oct. 7, 2009, charging White with federal drug trafficking crimes.
This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the Tyler Police Department and was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Mary Ann Cozby.
