SIMMS, TEXAS RESIDENTS SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS PROBATION FOR FEDERAL VIOLATIONS
(TYLER, TX) United States Attorney Becky Gregory announced today that two Simms, Texas residents have been sentenced to five years probation for federal violations in the Eastern District of Texas.
PAUL GREGORY, 43 and MILLIE GREGORY, 40, had pleaded guilty earlier this year to conspiracy to use unauthorized access devices and use of unauthorized access devices. The pair was sentenced today by United States Judge David Folsom.
According to information presented in Court, over a ten month period, Paul Gregory, a former contractor for the Postal Service and Millie Gregory, a former postal employee, used two United States Postal Services Voyager gasoline credit cards to purchase gasoline for themselves, and to sell gasoline to others, with transactions occurring in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana. The pair has made restitution to the United States Postal Service for the fraudulent use of the Voyager Credit Cards in the amount of $47,393.23.
This case was investigated by the United States Postal Service - United States Postal Inspectors. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Denise Simpson.
