JACKSONVILLE MAN GUILTY OF EMBEZZLING BANK FUNDS
TYLER, TX – U.S. Attorney John M. Bales announced today that a 47-year-old Jacksonville, Texas man has pleaded guilty to federal charges in the Eastern District of Texas.
LLOYD WAYNE ROCK pleaded guilty to an Information charging him with embezzlement by a bank employee today before U.S. Magistrate Judge John D. Love.
According to information presented in court, from 1995 until December 2007, Rock was employed as a bank teller for Bank of America in Tyler. During this time, he embezzled approximately $145,000 from the bank.
Rock faces up to 30 years in federal prison at sentencing. A sentencing date has not been set.
This case is being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Frank Coan.
