Appellate
The Appellate Section handles all criminal appeals
from the Western District of Texas. In addition, the Section provides
legal advice to prosecutors throughout the District and acts as
liaison on appellate matters with the Criminal Division of the Department
of Justice and the Solicitor General in Washington, D.C. The Western
District of Texas is within the jurisdiction of the Fifth Circuit
Court of Appeals headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana. |
