United States Attorney Chuck Rosenberg joined with members of a federal and local law enforcement task force on Thursday, September 7, to announce the results of a three-year investigation into a marriage and immigration fraud scheme operating in Northern Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. At the press conference, it was announced that 19 of 22 charged individuals were taken into custody. The investigation into the scheme continues. Read more here.
