
Hampton Man Indicted on Failure to Update Sex Offender Registration Charge
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Neil H. MacBride, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, announced that Dale Patrick Versher, age 52, of Hampton has been indicted on one count of Failure to Update Sex Offender Registration.
Versher faces up to 10 years in the Bureau of Prisons.
The investigation was conducted by the United States Marshal’s Service, Special Agent Carter Davis. Assistant United States Attorney Lisa R. McKeel will prosecute this case on behalf of the United States.
The charges contained in the indictment are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
