
Law Enforcement to Announce Indictment of 13 Somalis and One Yemeni Charged with Piracy, Kidnapping
NORFOLK – Federal law enforcement will hold a press conference TODAY, MARCH 10, at 1:00 P.M. announcing the federal grand jury indictment of 13 men from Somalia and one Yemeni for allegedly pirating a yacht and taking hostage four U.S. citizens, who were ultimately killed before their release could be secured.
The initial appearances are expected to begin at 2:30 p.m. at the federal courthouse in Norfolk before United States Magistrate Judge Tommy E. Miller.
