The Summit will raise awareness of the personal, social, criminal justice and economic costs of prescription drug abuse.  Our deliberations will produce a specific set of recommendations to combat prescription drug abuse, facilitated by Isaac T. Van Patten, Ph.D, Professor of Criminal Justice, Radford University; David Cattell-Gordon, Healthy Appalachia Institute at the University of Virginia – Wise, and  Elizabeth L.
