ILLEGAL ALIEN SENTENCED TO 24 MONTHS IN REENTRY CASE

The Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Vermont stated that Virgilio Reynoso, also known as Esteban Conejo-Martinez, age 37, of California, was sentenced today by the Honorable William K. Sessions, III, in Burlington, Vermont. Reynoso pled guilty in March 2009 to illegally reentering the United States after deportation. Judge Sessions sentenced Reynoso to 24 months in prison and ordered that the defendant comply with deportation proceedings following his release from prison. Sessions cautioned Reynoso not to return to the United States again.

This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Wendy Fuller. Reynoso was represented by Assistant Federal Public Defender Elizabeth Mann, Esq.
