The following information is for individuals who have been subpoenaed to testify in Federal Court or before the Grand Jury.
Confirm the Date and Time of the Attendance

Please contact the above individual to verify your attendance is required BEFORE traveling, and to determine if there have been any changes in the date and time of the hearing or trial.

Travel

If you are required to travel to appear in court, immediately contact the individual listed above for assistance in making your travel arrangements.

Building Security

The United States Marshals Service has taken certain precautions to make the United States Courthouse secure. All visitors, including government witnesses, entering the building must pass through a metal detector. You are prohibited from bringing weapons, mace, cameras, recording devices, computers or other electronic devices into the building. This procedure exists to ensure the safety of everyone. Cell phones and pagers must be turned off while you are in the courtroom. Photo identification is required to enter the Courthouse. If you do not have photo identification, please contact the above individual.

Court-Ordered Dress Code

All witnesses appearing in United States District Court in the Eastern District of Washington, must dress appropriately. Short pants, tank tops and sandals are not allowed.
