Seattle attorney Jenny A. Durkan was confirmed September 29, 2009 as United States Attorney for the Western District of Washington by a unanimous vote of the United States Senate. Ms. Durkan was sworn in as U.S. Attorney on October 1, 2009 by Chief U.S. District Judge Robert S. Lasnik.
