Federal Inmate Sentenced for
Aiding and Abetting an Assault with a Weapon

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 22 year old federal inmate entered a plea of guilty and was sentenced on April 1, 2009, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.

United States Attorney Sharon L. Potter announced that ANGEL ROLDAN aided and abetted an assault of another inmate with a dangerous weapon at United States Penitentiary Hazelton on August 13, 2008.

ROLDAN was sentenced to 24 months imprisonment, to be served consecutive to his current sentence.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney David E. Godwin. The case was investigated by the Special Investigative Services at USP Hazelton and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
