Hepzibah Resident Pled Guilty to Hydrocodone Charge
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 36 year old Hepzibah, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on February 13, 2009, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
United States Attorney Sharon L. Potter announced that WILMA JUNE RIFFLE entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging her with aiding and abetting the unlawful possession with intent to distribute hydrocodone on November 1, 2007, in Clarksburg.
RIFFLE, who is currently in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn Angus Morgan. The case was investigated by the Harrison/Lewis County Drug & Violent Crime Task Force, the Morgantown Police Department, the Clarksburg Police Department, the Fairmont Police Department, the Grafton Police Department, and the Granville Police Department. The Harrison/Lewis County Drug & Violent Crime Task Force consists of officers from the Clarksburg Police Department, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, the Bridgeport Police Department, the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
