Fairmont Resident Entered Guilty Plea
to “Crack” Cocaine Charge
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 27 year old Fairmont, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty on July 10, 2009, in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
United States Attorney Sharon L. Potter announced that ISAIAH PRINCE, also known as “Z,” entered a plea of guilty to one count of a Indictment charging him with aiding and abetting the distribution of cocaine base, also known as “crack,” on January 2, 2009, in Marion County.
PRINCE, who is currently in custody pending sentencing, faces a maximum penalty of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $1,000,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Zelda E. Wesley. The case was investigated by the Three Rivers Drug Task Force, consisting of officers from the Fairmont Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Department.
