Four States Resident Sentenced
for Distributing Cocaine Wthin 1,000 Feet of a School
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 22 year old Four States, West Virginia, resident was sentenced on October 30, 2009, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.
Acting United States Attorney Betsy C. Jividen announced that STACEY MARIE LONGWELL was sentenced to 36 months imprisonment to be followed by six years supervised release. LONGWELL entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging her with the distribution of cocaine base within 1,000 feet of Washington Irving Middle School on April 2, 2008.
LONGWELL is in federal custody.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn Angus Morgan. The case was investigated by the Harrison/Lewis County Drug & Violent Crime Task Force, consisting of officers from the Clarksburg Police Department, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, the Bridgeport Police Department, the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
