East Liverpool Resident Enters
Plea to StolenFirearms Charge

WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA - A 20 year old East Liverpool, Ohio, resident entered a plea of guilty in United States District Court on December 21, 2010, in Wheeling before Judge Frederick P. Stamp, Jr.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that: SHANE LEE POTTS entered a plea of guilty to one count of stolen firearms from April 10, 2010, to April 13, 2010, in Chester, Hancock County, West Virginia. POTTS, who is on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum of 10 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney David J. Perri and was investigated by agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
