Clarksburg Resident Entered Guilty Plea
to Firearms Violation
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 37 year old Clarksburg, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty today (June 29, 2010) in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
United States Attorney Betsy C. Jividen announced that TERENCE MICHAEL GONZALEZ, II, also known as “MIKE,” entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging him with knowingly receiving and possessing a firearm that was not registered to him in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record.
GONZALEZ, who is currently free on bond pending sentencing, faces a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment and a fine of $10,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn Angus Morgan. The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives.
