Marion County Resident Entered Guilty Plea
to Firearms Violation
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 39 year old Fairmont, West Virginia, resident entered a plea of guilty today (June 10, 2010), in United States District Court in Clarksburg before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull.
United States Attorney Betsy C. Jividen announced that VINCENT IRVING ROBINSON entered a plea of guilty to a one-count Information charging ROBINSON, a convicted felon, with knowingly possessing a firearm on May 17, 209, in Fairmont.
ROBINSON, who is currently in custody, faces a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment and a fine of $250,000.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shawn Angus Morgan. The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives; the Fairmont Police Department; and the State of West Virginia Probation/Parole Office.
