Former Morgantown Resident
Sentenced on Firearms Violation
CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — A 26 year old Morton, Pennsylvania, resident was sentenced on May 12, 2010, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.
United States Attorney Betsy C. Jividen announced that LAMONT ALEXANDER was sentenced to five years probation. ALEXANDER entered a plea of guilty to one count of an Indictment charging ALEXANDER, who was a convicted felon, with unlawfully possessing handgun ammunition in Morgantown on January 30, 2008.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Andrew R. Cogar. The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives.
