Rosedale Residents Sentenced on Marijuana Charges

CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — Two Rosedale, West Virginia, residents were sentenced on October 27, 2010, in United States District Court in Clarksburg by Judge Irene M. Keeley.

United States Attorney WILLIAM J. IHLENFELD, II, announced that: EDGAR HENRY and KIMBERLEY HENRY, were each sentenced to 60 months imprisonment to be followed by four years of supervised release and the forfeiture of their 77-acre farm being situate in the head of Anthony Fork of Mill Fork of Steer Creek, in Center District, Gilmer County, West Virginia. The HENRYs were convicted on October 2, 2009, after a three-day Federal jury trial, on one count of conspiracy to manufacture, distribute, and possess with intent to distribute more than 100 marijuana plants between July 16, 2000, and July 21, 2004, in Rosedale; and one count of aiding and abetting each other in manufacturing more than 100 marijuana plants between July 16, 2000, and July 21, 2004, in Rosedale. The Court ordered the forfeiture of the real estate stayed pending appeal. The defendants were remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Shawn Angus Morgan and Erin K. Reisenweber. The case was investigated by the West Virginia State Police - Bureau of Criminal Investigations and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
