ELKINS, WEST VIRGINIA - A 31 year old Beverly, West Virginia, resident was named in a two-count Indictment returned on August 9, 2011, by a Federal Grand Jury sitting in Elkins, West Virginia.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:

Count One charges GREGORY STEPHEN SCOTT with conspiracy to distribute marijuana in the Fall of 2010 in Randolph County, West Virginia. Count Two charges SCOTT with possession with intent to distribute marijuana on December 14, 2010, in Franklin, West Virginia. The Indictment also contains a Forfeiture Allegation wherein the United States seeks to forfeit $18,078 in United States currency, three cellular telephones and marijuana paraphernalia seized from defendant.
